My debt is to the craftsmen who make our furniture. They are Thos. Moser – not me, them. – Tom Moser

Cumberland Collection

Showing all 3 results

Executed in a variety of dining area forms, our Cumberland Collection embraces elements of Danish Modern design, following the tenets of Moser design and craft. Its demonstration of fundamentally Danish philosophies echoes our own belief: that furniture should be well made, functional, and simple in its use of traditional, handcrafted materials.

Stripped of ornamentation, each element in this custom hardwood furniture collection features our hallmark finger joint, which serves to amplify precision craftsmanship while visually uniting each piece in the collection. From the lively angles and gentle curves seen in the Dining Chair and Stool to the light vertical lines of both the Dining Table and Sideboard, Cumberland’s quiet power celebrates the versatility of restraint. These pieces are at once silent and striking, allowing an interior to perform.

Cumberland’s attributes have not gone unnoticed. In 2014, Interior Design magazine named Cumberland among its “Best of Year” award winners – a sentiment echoed by a “Good Design” award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Modern Architecture.

Equally suited for use as a collection and as complementary components to a mixed array of furnishings, Cumberland’s versatility makes it an ideal candidate for any creative interior vision.
