My debt is to the craftsmen who make our furniture. They are Thos. Moser – not me, them. – Tom Moser

When I was in high school, my Aunt Jeanine, who was aware I was taking woodshop classes, mentioned she had some friends who had bought Thos. Moser pieces when the company first started. She raved about the quality and style of the furniture. It was the first time I’d heard mention of the name. I remembered that, and when I started looking into the company, it seemed like a great place to set my sights on.

I simply love building furniture. It’s hard for me to imagine doing anything else. I especially enjoy our Customer in Residence program. It’s a blast making pieces with our customers and showing them how the details all come together to create an heirloom they can sign themselves and pass down through their families. I’ve made some great friends along the way.

“Over the years, I’ve built or helped build practically everything we make, but lately, my favorite piece is the Cumberland Sideboard. It’s a big piece, and there are a lot of elements to consider as you build.”
