Like other elements in the Ellipse Collection, the Ellipse Two Place Sofa is designed in the minimalist tradition associated with America’s post World War II era, when scarce resources spurred simple aesthetics and innovation. Crafted with turned legs that join with gently curved arms, the frame of the sofa is crafted with a light, airy seat platform and a back comprised of slender ash spindles that flex for added comfort.
To enhance the sofa’s comfort and aesthetic appeal, both seat and back are outfitted with generous cushions, covered in vegetable-tanned whole grain leather. The juxtaposition of the simple frame, with the soft, supple seating surface creates a sense of thoughtful elegance, where every element in the sofa masterfully serves its purpose.
